There are three common mistakes that both buyers and sellers make before they move. Luckily, these mistakes are easy to avoid.
The first mistake is not taking the time to pack before your house hits the market or before you close on a property. Putting away things that you don’t use will help your home show better as you declutter and get ready to move. As a buyer, you will be ahead of the game if you already have some of your things in boxes, and you will be able to move into your new home quickly.

Another mistake is waiting to pack items that are already in storage. Everyone stores things in a garage, closet, or room, so why not box those items up since you’re already not using them?
Finally, buyers and sellers alike make the mistake of not asking for help. It’s very hard to pack everything by yourself. There are companies out there that can help you organize your house. You can also ask your friends and family for help. It’s amazing how much faster you can finish packing with a few extra hands.
